Erie House is a community service agency founded in 1870 that promotes a just and inclusive society by sthrenthening low-income, primarily Latino families through skill-building, access to critical resources, advocacy and collaborative action. We accomplish our mission by providing nationally accredited preschool, Head Start, and school-age child care for ages 2 to 12, home day care network for infants and toddlers, adult basic education classes, workforce development bridge programming, citizenship application processing, community-based technology access and instruction for all ages, academic mentoring, personal development, and recreational opportunities for at-risk teens, emergency assistance and referral services to fulfill basic human needs.
